We are now looking for a communicator with a focus on web editor who wants to be part of our ongoing brand journey and contribute to strengthening the Swedish Agency for Government Employers' digital presence.
About the Swedish Agency for Government Employers and the unit
The Swedish Agency for Government Employers is an employer organization for state employers and an administrative authority. Members include approximately 250 authorities, state-owned enterprises, and other employers related to the state sector. Together with its members, the agency develops state employer policy and negotiates collective agreements for 298,000 employees.
The communication unit at the agency consists of nine employees who drive proactive communication efforts to strengthen our members as employers. The communicators work broadly and diversely but have different focuses, such as web/intranet, social media, film and podcast, graphic design, and employer branding. We develop and manage several websites. Our main website is arbetsgivarverket.se, but we also have the website jobbastatligt.se as well as the microsites BESTA-webben and Tjänstepensionsguiden.
Job Description
In the coming year, the focus will be on integrating our training platform with the web and packaging our training in an attractive and user-friendly way. You will also contribute to the development of our brand, where the web is our primary showcase.
In this role, you will work both as a specialist and a generalist. As a specialist, you will be responsible for web development and further development of our websites and intranet. As a generalist, you will be part of the communication team, where you will contribute with target group-adapted texts and work to create structure, user orientation, and high quality in our digital channels.
Qualifications
- Academic degree in media and communication science, journalism, or another area that the employer deems relevant for the position.
- Experience in both web development and management.
- At least five years of experience as a web editor or equivalent.
- High competence in EPiServer/Optimizely or similar publishing tools.
- Experience in making web pages and digital products accessible according to current accessibility requirements.
- Sharp writer with the ability to make complex information understandable for different target groups, with plain language and accessibility as a given starting point.
- High competence in search engine optimization (SEO) and experience in setting and following up Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Good knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- High procurement competence towards web suppliers.

- Pedagogical and confident in supporting and educating colleagues in communication issues.
- Contributes to creating structure, quality, and impact in communication.
Desirable competencies
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for design in digital and print channels.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, especially related to accessibility adjustments.
- Good knowledge of Office programs.
- Experience in leading the work of integrating a training platform with the web.
- Knowledge of employer issues and/or knowledge of conditions within the state.
Personal suitability will weigh heavily in the hiring decision.
About the employment
The employment is a temporary position until March 15, 2027, with a possible extension. Desired start date in February 2026 or as agreed. We have trust-based working hours and the possibility to work remotely a couple of days a week.
